Status before Landing

Me and my wife got the CoPR and we are planing to do the landing next month on our way back from US.
Currently we have a work permit valid until 2021. I will be happy to know what will be our status in Canada
during the time between now and our landing next month, are we a Permanent Resident or under a work permit Visa?
