Hello

I’m from Pakistan. I have Bachelors done in 2010 from UK. Working since 2013 in Graphic Designing/advertising in UAE. Wish to take a different route to advance my career and also potentially start a business (within same industry). For that I found a 2 year post grad course in Business Management where I can choose to specialise in Advertising Media Management (correlation with my current occupation) in 3rd semester.

I’m bit confused about whats the strong statement/reason to prove home ties and that I will leave Canada after study is over.
I’m in uae (where almost everyone is a temporary worker since there’s no permanent residency) and I figured I have two ways to approach the statement:

1) get a letter from my company (in uae) that they will be happy to have me back after my study period is over (I have been with them a long time already) or

2) that this course would help me understand business aspects of the industry and I plan to open an agency in my home country (Pakistan) after studies i.e after study I will go to Pakistan and not UAE. Also, my retired parents are in Pakistan so it would be good to be there to take care of them. Keeping in mind, I haven’t permanently lived in Pakistan for almost 2 decades. Visited regularly, but not lived a long time.

If I go with option 2, then would it anyway impact if my brother (who is PR in canada) applies for parents visitor visa? Would it impact their visit visa application considering that I would’ve mentioned that they’re in Pakistan (at time of my study permit application)?

Last question. I believe ielts isn’t really a requirement for study permit, so if my college exempts me from academic ielts based on my General ielts results (overall band 8.0) would it be wise to attach that General ielts results (even if it may expire at the time of application) with my study permit application?
or its just better to do academic ielts to be on safe side?
Thank you.
