Hello my friends.
To start I must say that I come to this forum often, because I'm seriously thinking about moving to Canada.
Also, I know I don't exactly fall right in the category of the forum, but I hope you can help me a little anyway.
The thing is that I have Canadian citizenship. Although I only been in Canada during a month, some 5 years ago, in holidays.
My father was born there, son of immigrants, and then he went back to Portugal, but as he is Canadian, I was able to request the citizenship too.

I'm 22, but I can only move there next summer, at best, when I'll be 23.
I have the high school diploma, and no degree nor college experience.
I have some working experience, although always short lived. 6 months in retail, and some field work of agriculture.

So, to not bore you anymore, my question would be, is it hard to find jobs there without experience?
I would be able to do pretty much anything, as far as it would give me enough money to pay the rent and survive.
What kind of jobs you think would be easier to find?
What about renting houses? I could do good on a 0/1 bedroom apartment. It it expensive? In big cities, and small cities?

Do you think is viable to think about this?

In some places it is hard to get a job and in some it is easy. If you don't care what kind of job, it shouldn't be hard. You can try to find a cheap bachelor apartment or room with others. You are young and single so you have the flexibility. I think you should try it. If you don't like it, you can always go back.

If you want to study something but don't have the means to go to college, you should look for an apprentice position. If you apprentice, your wages will go up considerably each year that you complete and you can make decent money in 3-4 years.
