stamping of passport

I have received letter for stamping of passport. As per the letter validity to send passports is 30 days. Currently i am in US for few months and cannot send my passports. Any suggestions as in what can be done?

You can also send from US. There's instruction for that in the letter I believe
or
You can write to them or call them to ask for an extension.
