Hello,

I received my ITA on December 16th, I am in the process of gathering and uploading documents. I just wanted know how far behind or ahead I am in the stages of application. In My understanding, next step is to pay and submit. I am being delayed in medicals and gathering documents due to personal reason and I just wanted a general idea of how much time do i have to finish next levels. Thank you guys and good luck to all.

You have 90 days to submit. You still have some time. Medical depends on how soon you can get an appointment, how soon the clinic gets results of your blood test and how soon they submit it to CIC. Getting PCC from some countries can take a long time. Also, depends on your referees how long they take to give you employment references.

Hello All,

I received my ITA on 16th Nov and submitted the application on 23rd January 2017. However I may have made a big mistake by not uploading the ECA report for the degrees we got evaluated by WES. We have mentioned the ECA report numbers in the application form, but forgot to scan it with the degree certificates in the supporting documents. What are your experiences, do you think they contact you if you miss any documents?
:(

Check with seniors and see if you can raise Case Specific Enquiry (CSE). All the best

The things that take time are Reference letters, PCC and medical. As long as you're aware of how long you'll need for these, you're OK. Filling the form and submitting just takes a couple of hours if you have everything in place. I recommend you do these things parallely to save time. PCC in india is simple if you apply online at PSK.

Cheers and goodluck!

Thank you for your reply, But do we get notified once a case officer has been assigned to a case? Is there a way to email them the additional required documents?

Once your medicals get passed and you get the notification that "No further documents are required", it means that your application has progressed further to the visa office which is handling your case. If you are from India, your visa office will be NDVO. But there is no notification that a case officer has been assigned to your case. If you have an issue with your submitted application, you can always raise a CSE and ask CIC to add a particular document(s) to your application.

Thank you,

May be I will do that, How to raise a CSE? When I googled it, it took me to IRCC Webform. Under Home Immigration and citizenship ->Help Centre-> Application Status ->IRCC Webform

Is this a correct pathway?

Thank you again..
