APEST (Association for the Promotion of Education, Health and Tourism) is a young organization based in Kpalimé (south west of Togo). It aims to contribute to the education of the population, health awareness and promote tourism.
Thus, it organizes work camps, trainings and workshops throughout the year.
As part of your studies, APEST offers courses tailored to students interested in working with local communities and experience a different culture.
Areas of activities of the association are varied;
1) Education
It consists of various components, such as school education, but also health, environmental and agricultural, animation with children, reading projects ... Interns will be assigned to schools (nursery, primary, secondary and school) where they teach subjects they have chosen, while respecting the curriculum.
2) Health
Pupils nursing students IFSI, you can do your internship in the various hospitals where you will attend the medical team. In addition, you can organize meetings on various health issues to sensitize the local population.
3) Tourism
Allows students to complete their courses of study in ecotourism, but also solidarity tourism. You will analyze the various attractions to promote, you will seek partnerships (hotels, guides, taxis ...) sensibiliserez the local population against the preservation of these sites ...
4) The environment
Concerned with the health of our planet and face the many challenges facing nature APEST site offers camps and workshops to raise awareness of sustainable development that respects the environment.
5) The African arts and crafts
This course includes various workshops, and students may choose one or more, depending on their preferences among batiks, wood carvings, drums, African dance and theater.
