Hello Everyone,

I need your advise, please suggest here.

My Friend (applicant) has had TB in the past, since then he have no active TB and have had exams and tests done to confirm this fact back home.

Now, CIC medical physician requested him to do Sputum Test --but he cannot produce sputum. what to do in this case? is there anyway

he is in Calgary

Please help him

Thanks

AK

He can still take the sputum test even if he has no active TB. This is what he should do so that his application can proceed as soon as possible.

I'm not sure what you mean by "he cannot produce sputum". Do you mean that he cannot produce the spit required to do the test?

Yes, he cannot split it. he tried lot but not coming. :'(

Sounds like he's dehydrated. He should drink plenty of water in the days leading up to the exam and then he will have no problems spitting.

The application won't move forward unless he gets the test done.
