spp visa processing time varying file to file??? & siblings effect

hello everyone, am new to this forum. i have applied under spp on july15 at jalandhar visa office.next day i got message that my file is forwarded to chd office. can anyone tell me how many days they are taking these days?? or time is varying with diff files ?? one more thing my bro is PR in canada.will this effect on my file that they could have doubt that i can settle there permanently??

@nimarbrar the time does vary from file to file.
But as of now 15 working days seems an average. So u'll have to patiently wait till that time

Some luckier ones though have got their visa in 10 days or so.
It shidnt be a problem for visa if ur brother is a PR.
A few people on forum have got their visas having similar cases like ur having blood relatives as PR in Canada.

But u shud have sent a strong SOP and not hidden any info relating to ur ties there.
Just out of curiosity -- are u goin to a college nearby to ur brothers place in Canada??

Hey.....i've applied on 14 july chandigarh spp and my process started on 15. now waiting. As my sister is also pr in canada and she's living in calgary, alberta. i've applied in british columbia and my college is almost 800 km away from calgary. so, this can be problem or not??
