Hi,
I am from India, currently living in US - H1B Visa holder. My Spouse lives in India and his employer is processing his Closed WorkPermit. His Visa application is in Progress, applied from India. Meanwhile I wish to apply TRV(Visitor Visa /Dependent Visa) for myself from US.
1. Is it possible to apply visitor visa from US stating the purpose of Visit is to accompany my spouse when he arrives Canada? (His Visa is yet to be approved)
2. Shall I choose option - More than 6 months in the application?
3. Do I need to wait for my spouse Visa to be approved then apply my Visa( In this scenario, my spouse Visa might take 1 month more, and applying visitor visa for me will take another month or so, if we do from India)

Please note: I want to apply dependent/Visitor Visa so that we both can come to Canada together. Thank you

There's no dependent visitor visa/dependent TRV.

1. Is it possible to apply visitor visa from US stating the purpose of Visit is to accompany my spouse when he arrives Canada? (His Visa is yet to be approved)
That would indicate intentions to remain long-term in Canada which could lead to a TRV refusal.

You can either apply for a TRV (family visit after your husband gets his WP, or else currently as a tourist before he gets his WP).

In this scenario, you must focus on why you need to return to the US after your visit (your employment, rent contract, other reasons) + demonstrate your ties to both the US/India. You would need to prepare a really solid application with evidence.

Or, you can apply for a SOWP (Spouse Open Work Permit) after your husband gets his WP.

2. Shall I choose option - More than 6 months in the application?
That's incorrect. As a visitor, your visit must be very short like for a weekend or one week max.

3. Do I need to wait for my spouse Visa to be approved then apply my Visa( In this scenario, my spouse Visa might take 1 month more, and applying visitor visa for me will take another month or so, if we do from India)

You must be careful about your choice of words when you apply if you're applying for a TRV/visitor visa

Cheers
