Hi everyone,

I was wondering if teaching assistantship experience (from a Canadian university) from a spouse (with a study visa) can count for CEC application. CIC says expressly that 'You cannot count work experience you gained while enrolled as a full-time student' BUT can it be counted for a secondary applicant.

No, if your spouse was on a study permit, in-Canada work experience does not count.
