I am PhD student in Canada on a fully funded PhD scholarship and I would like to invite my husband (1 year of electrical engineer experience in Pakistan) here. I just would like to know what would be good choice for me if i apply for his visit/tour visa first and if application is approved then apply for open work permit after his arrival in Canada or Should I apply for his open work permit directly? I just would like to know which option would be best for me for his application to invite him from Pakistan. Any previous experience based suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thanks
