how lon does it take to be approved as sponsor after submiting your spouse visa? any advice

Can you give us a bit more info please so we can help you.It depends on the visa office,if it is inland or outland app.and when it was submitted.

am sorry to say i have no idea what's inland or outland but what i know is that iam sponsoring my spouse in side canada but my spouse lives out side canada
so how long it takes to be approved as sponsor after submiting my application

Yes if she is living outside Canada then it is an outland app.When you get your app done and she does her permant resident app you will fed ex it off to mississauga,from there they will send it to the visa office responsible for the country she is from.
Where is she from? This determins how long it will take to process.
If she is in the US she needs to apply for the FBI clearance right away as it takes a while to get.And if not she needs to do the medical and a police clearance for every country she has lived in.
The medicals are done by an approved medical docotor.

my spouse lives kenya as a refugee he did the medical check but didnt gt the police clearnce so we just wrote an explanation for that reason and i hope it works i just complated my appliocation and want to submit but am nt sure how long the approvel time will be?
and what step next?

you really need the police clearance from the country he was born in even if he is a refugee he can do it online and they have to supply it to him dont they?And then he needs one for Kenya too.and anywhere else he has lived for more than 6 months if its not in there they wont process it they will send a letter right away asking for it.

lat me explain my story
my husband is a refugee anbd in kenya police clearance are allowed only by kenyans or other persons who have documents to stay kenya
but my husbands situation is different he lives kenya as a refugee got nothng from the kenyan gov
i just saw a line in cic web sayin if ur refuge and unble to obtain police clearnce write explantion for the reason and we trying to explain i don't know wether it works or nt

Ok well i never seen that but it could be true.If thats what it says,then thats what you do.Im really have no knowledge of the refugee status but im sure someone can confirm that for you.But can he get one from his home country?
