Spouse Visa

I am a permanent resident and I got married in India. I am going to sponsor my wife but it takes 10 months, I was just wondering if my wife could apply for a visitor visa. Is it easily granted or not. Also, if visitor visa is rejected will she trouble in sponsorship application too.

Please help me as I have no idea how it works?

No - it is not easily granted.

No - it will not cause trouble for the sponsorship application.
