Spouse Visa to PR

Hi,
My current points are 391. I want to know if my wife gets admission in a Ph.D or Masters program. I can accompany her on spouse visa. We have 2 children. While in Canada I can search for a Job and after getting job offer can I apply for PR? Also does the job offer need to be of permanent or temporary will also do?

Thanks for the link. One more think in order to secure a full time job is it necessary to hold Spouse Open Work Permit (SOWP).

Technically if the employer is willing to apply and gets approved for an LMIA and you get approved for a closed work permit that also is a possibility. Just so you are aware, spouses of international students are not guaranteed SOWP.
