Hi All,
Need your opinions for sponsoring my wife , I already got my PR in Dec 2015, just stayed there for two (2) weeks and returned back to Saudi Arabia , now still living in Saudi Arabia, I got married this month i.e. June 2016, My plan is to move to Canada in Dec 2017 on permanent basis, and i want to take my wife with me.My question is Can i start the process for my wife now, while main applicant living outside of canada? is this a good choice? Is there any other best possible way.

No - you can't start the process from outside of Canada. As a PR, you must be living in Canada in order to sponsor your wife for PR.

Once you are ready to return to Canada, your wife can try applying for a TRV to accompany you to Canada. If the TRV is refused, you will have to return to Canada alone and sponsor her.

Apply for TRV from Saudi, if it succeeds then you can both travel to Canada where you begin the sponsorship process.

Hello Thanks for the reply, for TRV i read many posts they will need assurance that applicant will return back to his country, for my wife i cannot provide enough assurance that she will rerturn back, please guide me what should i do.
