Spouse TRV

I got study visa for canada and will be there in this sep.

My wife lives in singapore (bangladeshi nationality) and she works there as well. Now she wants to submit her TRV (without work permit)

1. Where should she submit her visa application? Singapore VFS or Dhaka VFS? (We prefer VfS over online).

2. What are the docs she need to submit?

3. After coming to Canada, can she apply for work permit?

i am not completely sure but u can do it in either place just make sure u look at the processing times in both places before making a decision to see which one is faster. Also look at the docment list in both places

there should be a specific check list for TRV for the visa office also u will need ur marriage cert copy, study permit/ LOI copy, ur student visa copy.

3. After coming to Canada, can she apply for work permit?
yes she can apply for TRV first and then once in canada apply for OWP. In either case meaning for TRV or OWP what ever u decide to apply she needs strong home ties and financial background with a good profile. I believe if she has work experience it will be a big plus

You can apply online I prefer it. Why VFS try sending it directly to Singapore CHC if you can and want to apply by paper.

You will get the list if you answer the questions.

Yes, But in my opinion its better if you do it together as the fee is almost same.
