Hey,
I am planning to apply for study visa for canada in october2013.. and planning to leave by dec 2013.. but i am getting married only in november.
Can my spouse apply for open work permit, after we get married and travel to canada along with me? or later in jan 2014?
Also by the time when i apply for visa i will be single.. is that ok?

yes u can apply alone first and then apply for ur spouse TRV (if u r from a country that needs visa)....once u both get visa u can travel and at port of entry ur spouse will get a visitors permit for the duration of ur stay after producing marriage cert and other docs......later when u r ready in canada u can apply for ur spouses open work permit online takes about 2 months to get the permit.
