I just need to know proper procedure
my husband sponsered me .. My file was transfered to london's office in Jan 2014, though i applied in OCT 2013
I was sent an email on 30th Oct to get re medical done, send copy of passport and pay the permanent residence fee, i sent all these requirements to the London Office on 18th Nov through DHL, it reached the office on 20th Nov (i know that only through the tracking number, not sure if it was actually delivered to the right place or not) According to the london's processing time i was suppose to receive my visa by oct/nov.. But my application status still says in process, since oct 30th.. and I havent received any news yet.. kindly guide me as to what would be the next step.
Besides that i want to know whenever i get my visa and ive to travel, is there any certain amount of weight i would be allowed? what if i have alot of stuff with me??

I wouldnt be that worried, you only sent the documents towards the end of November so it can take a number of weeks before you may hear anything about your COPR. Weight is dependent on the airline that you are flying with. If you are looking to bring a lot of belongings to Canada you should really look at alternative shipping methods. Have a look on Google to see what local companies can assist you with shipping your belongings to Canada. Airlines will charge you high amounts per extra kg if your luggage is above their specified weight.

well.. the thing is that according to the Processing time for London Office, it has exceeded, thats why im annoyed..
Do you think there is a possiblity that i would get it by January?
Besides that, would they send a request to send the passport to them or would i just get the COPR?

That is normal of not hearing anything fron CIC for weens/months. As your local VO is ISB so 11 months LVO is not applicable to your case. Though LVO is working too quickly but still you cant challenge the timeline.

When i called to check as to why the documents are gone there and what would be the processing time though i am a pakistani, theu told us that family sponsorships applications are now transferred to London OFfice, and the processing time would be of the london visa officer
my husband called the call center there in Canada

This is still not true, you do not get always right information from Call center agent. If that is the case files are transferred there since May 2013, and still those cases are not done. This is applicable by 2015 onwards.

well, i made an enquiry because of the exeeded processing time....

If the processing time is really exceeded then you may ask your MP is Canada to ask your VO regarding delay.

And they requested to send the copy of the passport already?
Is that a positive sign here?? Ive already sent that to them

Member of Parliament, you need to contact your local MP where you are living in Canada.

I would advise against contacting your MP at this time, as I said in my previous post it has only been a few weeks since you sent your documents and you are clearly in the final stages of processing. Sending a contact through your MP will simply cause more work for CIC. I would at least wait until the festive period is well over before contacting your MP. It is annoying when it takes longer than the processing times but as I said you appear to be in the final stages of having your COPR issued.

Oh okay! I am in Pakistan Actually, so it would be MP of the place where my husband is residing in canada ,...
yeah well the thing is according to processing time of london it shud be 10 months. and the docs were transferred there in January.. so its been 12 months now. and i applied back in 2013 october
