Hi,
I am a PR in Canada and got married in November this year, in India.

My husband is in india , but he has worked in iran (kish island) in an offshore oil rig and he has Iranian Work visa stamps on his passport.

we are gathering all the documents for his file and someone told us that the Iran visa on his passport can be a problem and he might be called in for an interview. Can someone clear our doubts ?

No it’s not true if you explain everything in application and attached police clearance certificate everything should be fine

He may undergo a more extensive security review based on this. Aside from the stamps in the passport, he will need to disclose his previous addresses and work history for the past ten years, so there is no way to hide it.
