Hi everyone.
I got married with my husband from Sri Lanka on August 20,2009, im from Europe. My case got rejected on July 2010 from Italy Visa office. i met my husband in Canada, 5 years ago, 2 years i got deported from Canada fail refuge claim. i met my husband on 2005, my cousin introduced me to him, we well in love, we open a bank account together 2006, had visa card together, on 2007 we open a business together, Cell Phone store, he come to marry me and met my family on 2009 and we got married. We are in love we want to spend the rest of our life together, we dont believe in divorce, im orthodox we dont get divorce, no one in my family did, my husband is from sri lanka they dont get divorce. we love each other a lot but this waiting time is killing us. The reason we got rejected is they dont believe our marriage is genius, cuz we have different religion, we didnt high lights the phone calls cuz we have a lot of phone calles when i was Canada, we use to call each other with phone card and no too many phone call history when i come back home, the business bank account it was only my husband signature (my husband give his bank agreement and my signature wasnt there), we got the original bank agreement from the bank with both signature. i know we did some stupid things, we believed yes we are in love got married everyone can see its real and i dont think the lawyer helped us much, or at list to let us know what we should do. we got married got my husband last name, all this years small last name now i have a big last name and very proud of it. my husband just got approved for a mortgage, we want to buy a house and start our family, we want kids, we respect each other religion we go church and temple, we had Europe wedding we will have tamil wedding when i go in Canada. i love my husband and want a happy life with him and our family. Please if someone had same problems please let me know what should we do? we will do whatever is possible to be together as soon as possible, this is unfair, why we should go so many year without each other, first year anniversary away from each other. my husband open a new store now and not very much time to come to see me. immigration are just making our love stronger, but there are times when im very disappointed. is there anything else we should do to talk to or whatever so they can give us a hearing date as soon as possible.

Sorry to hear about your application being rejected, Kristina. But you are now on full appeal and perseverance and commitment to the cause will prevail.
I'm not much of a help as I have no experience at all with appeals but I'm sure one or more of our senior members can help you out with their invaluable wisdom and experience.
Best of luck!.

Look at your CAIPS notes (which will be in the file the Canada Border Services Agency sent to you) and the rejection letter. Try to clearly figure out all the reasons the visa officer had for rejecting your application. Then collect evidence showing why each of these reasons is wrong.

For a full appeal hearing, having a lawyer is probably better. If you think your current lawyer didn't do much, maybe look for another one.

Thank you robrod and canadianwoman. we have all the proof ready just have to wait for the full hearing, hopefully it will be soon. Thanks a lot
