Spouse Sponsorship - Can medical exam be completed in Canada while on Visit?

Hello,

I recently got married and plan to submit a outland spousal sponsorship application in the next 2 weeks. My spouse resides in New Delhi, India.

My question is around the new process for spouse sponsorship that does not require a medical exam upfront. My spouse has TRV visa and plans to visit me in April and stay here for 6 months. My question is that when CIC asks for her medical exam results, can I get her medical exam done in Toronto or does she have to get the medical exam done in New Delhi, India?

Any advise here would be appreciated.

Yes - your spouse can certainly complete the medical in Canada.
