I am a Canadian Citizen currently living in India and will be returning to Canada in August to pursue my masters. I have married an Indian citizen. My husband is a second officer in the merchant navy and he will be sailing by July end for his next assignment.
I would like to sponsor my husband asap. But, since we will be away from each during the sponsorship process period, I would like for my husband to visit me in december after his sailing for 2-3 months before he joins the next ship.
Can I apply for sponsorship and TRV at the same time? Meaning apply for sponsorship first and then few days later apply for TRV or vice versa? Because he will be sailing at the end of july and i will return to Canada in August and would like to get his TRV approved before he sails so that he can join me in december.
