I am sponsoring my spouse from pakistan to canada. Is it acceptable to print, sign and scan the documents or should all the forms be printed, sign and then courier. It is a lot of hassle of couriering back and forth. I want to do this by scanning instead to fasten up the process. Please help if anyone encounter this situation in the past.

Signatures must be originals. By original, I mean it can't be scanned. Unfortunately you will have to print, sign, courier and then your wife couriers them back to you. I sent it via DHL, my wife received them in 5 days. Yes, it is costly but as far as I know, the only proper way to do it.

it should be original

I had her print out the already filled out documents at her end and sign then FedEx back to me in Toronto. I then signed them and forwarded complete package to CPC-Mississauga by Canada Post. FedEx was like 3 days (<$100) and Canada Post (~$10) was 1 day.
