In my EEP (primary applicant), spouse NOC is mentioned as she has a work experience in India. Can anybody please advice whether spouse Proof of work experience is required to be submitted even if she has no work experience in Canada?

No, as foreign work experience for a spouse doesn't gain you any CRS Score points, you don't need to provide proof of it - however if you already included it in your EEP, once you get an ITA, you would have to remove it from the 'Work Experience' section of the electronic application for permanent residency (eAPR) questionnaire and move it to the 'Personal History' section, as it still needs to be reported. If you keep it in the 'Work Experience' section, the eAPR will automatically ask you for proof, even though you don't actually need to provide it.

But is it a allowable practice to update the EEP after getting ITA?

Yes, many people do it. Just as long as what you're changing doesn't change your CRS Score to the point that it brings the score below the Draw threshold. But if you're very worried about it, you can include a Letter of Explanation (LOE) in your electronic application for permanent residence (eAPR) explaining the change between your EE profile and eAPR.

Hi, i also wanted to check on the same query. I have filled my spouse's work history during EE Pool application. Now while filling other details after receiving ITA, do i need to provide the proof for my spouse work experience. Is the procedure mentioned above still valid. Or is there any change in the rules now?
