Hello All,

I need some help.
One of my relative is in Canada for past 4 years. he got married in Feb-2014 in India and applied for Canadian PR for his wife in June 2014.
Till now (Dec-2015), the application is "In Progress state". She got her medical request and did the tests. But these results were expired and she got another medical request. The medical tests were done again in India Aug-2015. In the mean time, my relative has taken 2 short trips to India (3-4 weeks each time) .

I am looking for anyone who is in same boat and who can provide some info in this matter.
Is there any chance that his 2 trips have negative impact on the application. Experts, please shed some light on this....

Best Regards,
Sharat Joshi

I'm confused, your relative is a Canadian PR/citizen and sponsoring his Indian wife, correct?
And they're doing an Outland application for her?

Hi
Yes. My relative is PR and is living in Regina and is sponsoring indian wife.
He applied from within canada.

Regards
Sharat

If he applied from within Canada (inland) and his wife is in India, then he can expect a refusal. One of the requirements of applying inland is that they couple be living together in Canada.

Hi MilesAway
I am frankly nervous after reading your reply. He is wotking in Regina. His wife is in india and there was no way that she could come to canada living with him

He applied for her PR application after consulting lot of people. Her application has moved from all the statues and even got request fpr medical. If what you said is true, her applicationwud have been rejected/ rwfused at early state only. Isn't it ????

Her medical was asked, it got expired and she got another request for medical.

Not sure what to make out of it...

If he actually applied outland, then there shouldn't be an issue. If he really did apply inland, then they will have a problem.
