Need your advice about the following situation:

- I am a PGWP holder doing a Teer 1 job at a bank on a six-month contract, after which my role will become full-time based on my work performance.

• My question is: while I am working under this contract, may I bring my spouse along with SOWP?

She can apply. Include your job offer letter and pay stubs.

My spouse pp with visa stamped on it has been received 3 days ago but gckey status has not been changed and no counterfoil update nor POE letter received. What is to be done in this case???

Yes, it is possible to bring your spouse to Canada while you are working on a PGWP and are under a six-month contract. Your spouse may be eligible for an open work permit under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada (SCLPC) Class, also known as the SOWP.

She can apply. If you only got married recently with minimal in person relationship history it may be more difficult for her to get an OWP but it hard to say. I would update your file when you job becomes permanent.

How long does it take to update everything in GCKEY???? Please help me as its been 4/5 days since we received visa stamped passport.
