Hi,

I would like to first say that I only want answers from persons that have experienced this issue in the past and was successful with a PR.

My husband and I recently got married and applied for inland spousal sponsorship. However, he has been working illegally for 2 years and has overstayed by 6 months. He recently stopped working. We want to know our chances of a successful PR application.

Provided he fully declares the illegal work and overstay, it is not a reason for refusal.

Simple answer,
When they figure out your activities and you provide false information for sponsorship, you will be refused.
Is it worth the risk?
