Hi Everyone,

I am a PGWP holder valid until may18, 2018. I submited the spouse sponsorship on Sep20,2017 . The file in processing on Nov22, 2017. I am working on toronto now and my husband is PR.

Now I want to apply the Spouse open work permit. In this case;

1. In the application checklist(IMM5556), they just asking for IMM5710, passport, Marriage Certificate, work permit and proof of payment.

and I also provide the the email that have application number of spouse sponsorship, job offer letter and my husband PR card copy.

What else should i provide ?

Hi

You don't need to provide anything else. Just follow the checklist. As it is an Open Work Permit, you don't submit a job offer letter.

Hi

You can't have submitted a spouse sponsorship app, as you are not a Canadian citizen/PR. What app did you submit?

Note that if your PGWP actually expires in May 2018, there is no point in applying for a work permit for your husband.
I think that the OP is the PA being sponsored by a PR husband and is currently on PGWP. As it's about to expire, the OP is looking to replace it with the OWP supported by the PR application.

Ah, missed that bit about the husband being a PR, thanks.
