Spouse Open Work Permit do I need to be currently employed?

Hi

Wondering to be able to get a SOWP do I need to be currently employed? I have been unemployed for over a year now since I am a housewife. However my husband has closed work permit. What are the chances of it being approved if the officer sees that I have no job at the moment? I'm a graduate of 2 courses, business management and nursing, will that even count? Another thing is that most of my previous jobs involve home based freelance remote jobs is that going to be a red flag?
