I got ita as married but my spouse was not interested at the time.he now wants me to include him in my application ,please is that possible?kindly advice what steps to take, cos i dont want to lose this ita.

LOL. You lied so that you get more points and now you want to bring spouse because you have ITA. You think IRCC is stupid?

Indeed, recalculate your points by adding him on. If it's below the ita score, decline the ita and wait for a new one.

Your problem following.
If you have as fully married less points than your ITA you might end up in sponsorship, because:
If you add your spouse as accompanying before AOR, you will get less points. If you do that after AOR you will get most likely rejected because of the misinterpretation.
Unfortunately your case is not the same as those that get married after AOR.
In your case it would be taken as try to get advantage of the system. that is all
