Hey guys wanted to ask you according to the current trend,my score is now 459,my spouse had the exam today and she didnt do that great so am expecting for our score to move to maybe 462,464,is it
Worth to redo the exam before waiting for results because will be loosing points in a couple of months because of age factor, maximum that we can achieve is 471 which is very difficult, logically speaking increasing score to 467-469 is possible,is it worth it to redo the exam again or should i just wait.thanks

I really don't think it's worth it to increase your score by 7 points, when we have no idea how much the cutoff will drop in the next couple of months.

Thats why am asking, but i was also looking to compensate for the points that i will loose due to the age factor plus to increase my chances to the max now,not sure what to do

No one can make this decision for you, obviously. All you can do is weigh the pros and cons.

But if it's about compensating for the points you're going to lose, and not about getting ITA before you lose those points (although, obviously, that would be ideal), then I'd recommend that you wait until the points come down, and then you can see if those extra 7 points will actually help you or not.
If the points come down to somewhere between 462 and 471, then your wife can take the exam, and you'll have almost an entire year before you lose any more points due to age.
If the points don't fall near that range, then you'll save yourself a few hundred dollars.

I was thinking about maximising my chances before loosing points for the age factor as well, will it make a difference?

It could. The difference between getting ITA and not getting ITA is only 1 point.
But it's impossible to say whether the cutoff will drop into that range within the next couple of months.

So that means that its unlikely to reach the 460-460 range in next few months?

I have no idea. No one knows for sure. People have predicted that it will drop in the next few months, but no one knows for certain.
