Spouse Ielts expiry right after ITA

Hi Guys,

I am asking this for a friend.

He is at 457 and his spouse ielts has contributed 14 and they are getting into pool with 471 in total. Spouse ielts will expire on 14th October 2019 and there is a clear probability that draw will take place around 2/3 October which means by the trend they will receive the ITA.

Question is when they will receive ITA they will not be able to submit the documents in 2 weeks time before spouse ielts expiry so will it effect the case or Everything gets locked when ITA is received.

IELTS has to be valid at the time of submission and applicants need to maintain CRS score between ITA and submission. So yes it will affect the score
