Hi guys, i submitted my PR file last june 2017 with medical up front( may 2017). Unfortunately, my husband passed out on the 29 of January and I'm really upset. Don't know what to do. We had 3 children + his 19years old daughter in the file. What should I do? What will happen to his daughter? I don't want to leave her. Will they recalculate my points? Will my file be delayed?
PS: got and email on January that my file has been transferred to Rabat.

So sorry for your loss. Please accept our condolences. Firstly, you need to inform CIC about your husband. Are you the primary applicant? And what category have you applied under? QSW? I’m not very sure how your points will be recalculated, if at all, perhaps someone else can help out here. As far as your step daughter is concerned I don’t think she will be removed from your application. However, I am not 100% sure which is why you need to contact CIC as soon as possible.

Notify CIC. Tell them that you intend to continue with your immigration and that your step daughter will be part of your dependants. Raise a case specific enquiry on your GCKey and mark it urgent. Hopefully your application will not be affected by your terrible loss. Best of luck.
