Spouse Biometric

I have just submitted an application containing my Study Permit and my wife's open work permit at the same time, and I have got an update containing a biometric letter that is issued just for me,
In my wife's application it is mentioned that no biometric is needed and if it changes we inform you. I have also paid the family biometric fee which is 170CAD.
since there is no VAC in Iran, we need to travel to a neighborhood country for our biometrics and according to the 30 days time limit, do I need to wait for her biometric letter to be issued so we can attend the biometric session together?
What am I supposed to do if it takes more than 30 days for her biometric letter to be issued?

I had the same situation last year, only the person applied for the student visa will be asked to give biometric. But i think it was because of covid. It also depends on your country of residence and citizenship.
