Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum so pardon me if I am asking novice questions. I am stuck in figuring out a situation and I thought someone here might be able to help as I see loads of people benefitting from their conversations.

Let me tell you all a few facts before I ask my question
- My fiance is here in Canada on a study permit, and I myself am a Canadian citizen.
- We are planning on getting married in February in India
- Her study permit expires in December 2018
- I live in Ontario and she lives in Quebec
- Upon getting married and coming back to Canada, I plan to apply for her Permanent residency. On coming back, she doesn't want to pursue the diploma because she no longer likes it. Plus it's PEQ, which is Quebec's own Permanent residency criteria.

Now my question is that:
- If she takes time off in February to come to India and lives with me upon coming back, is she violating her study permit? I understand that the college/university sends information to the Government informing them about the current status of the enrolled student. So would this cause issues for her in case of absence?

Any links, or any guidance in this matter is highly appreciated.

Thank you so much
Neet
