You need to share more about your profile for anyone to comment on your chances of even getting a study permit. So any IELTS scores, current qualifications, any work experience ,relevance of course chosen and how that will improve your prospects on returning home.

Getting a college offer tends to be the easy part.

Hello All,
Thank you for sharing your info generously.
Briefly, I am working here as my wife was student in a graduate certificate program. Recently, she changed her program to another one in a new DLI and they asked her to finish an English course at first. At the same time we applied for extension for our current study permit and work permit relatively. Now, we are both at Implied status waiting for new permits, hopefully.
Question is that we went to TDSB to register my kid to elementary school and they told us as my wife need to pas an English course at her first semester in new DLI, they couldn't accept her as a full time international student and they can just give us 3 months registration based on my expired work permit and my implied status and if I can't provide them with new work permit before this 3 months, we should pay tuition!
Is that legal to do that? what can I do as a current worker that pays taxes and waiting for new work permit?
Regards,
