Hello, we are new here in this forum. We just submitted our application and via canada post tracking it was delivered last October 6 but no confirmation in our email that they have received it. We tried to check application online through linking it using name and date of birth but says “it doesnt exist”. So we assumed they havent started to open our application. How long before we would know that sponsor is eligible. Or would they email us? Your timelines can help ease our worry.

Im fairly new to this but i think we are just completely in the dark until the acknowledgement of reciept comes in. If it tracked as delivered i assumed its there, just sitting on a govt beurocrats desk pile. Theres no rhyme or reason governing the speed of responses its so random.
I guess youre right.. being in the dark is so agonizing. I will update in this thread when i get aor.
You can expect AOR to take up to 8 weeks, so don't worry if it takes that long.

You are very lucky. Some of us has been waiting for almost a month now to some almost 2 months. You received yours after 1 day! Very lucky. Not sure now if I should have just sent ours online. Seems to have a faster results i suppose.
I applied for sponsorship without applying for owp! Now that my application has its file number. We would like to start to apply my partner’s owp. Can anyone tell me how will I start. Should i apply online or paper??? Btw i have a representative and according to her she have received the automated file number.
What kind of documents did u attached when you applied for owp. My representative told me that she have received a automated letter from cic with my file number
We included owp application together with the spousal and mailed it 3 weeks ago, we havent receive aor yet. Theres a checklist for application ( extended your stay as worker ) applies to those spousal sponsorship. I guess online submission gives a faster result. We mailed ours and its almost a month now no word yet
