How many people out there sponsored their spouse while living together abroad, and travelled back to Canada while the PR application was being reviewed?

What steps did you need to take at the airport? Thereafter with updating the fact you were no longer sponsoring from an outland address?

Pretty common situation.

You don't need to do much. Have proof of the PR app and proof of funds. Don't volunteer anything to CBSA but don't lie if asked. Your spouse will be visiting you while the PR app processes.

You just use the Webform to update your address. It does not affect the app.

..

is this not dual intent and cbsa is not stupid

i meant CBSA is not stupid when it comes to dual intent and in some case they take a person to secondary

I still don't understand the reason for yout post. CBSA haa no issue with dual intent in this situation.

ok i meant cbsa is trained in all sort of situations. I have friends who are cbsa officers and they have heard everything from dual intent to birth tourism plus drug trafficking

Again, your point being?
