I am new to this forum and thankyou for reading my concens in advance.:) my boyfriend and I are together for 4 years now he is now in canada as PR because her mother sponsored him last 2014 and now hes planning to go home for our wedding my problem is my family feels like we are in hurry and this is not yet the right time for the wedding. plinano na po namin ito bago pa ma approved ang papers nya na if ever maging ok this will be the plan. Pinaplano namin na wag na papuntahin yung family ko sa wedding namin pero yung family nya is present naman. I know it sounds weird pero gusto na talaga namin makasama yung isat isa. Ok lng ba kung wala yung family ko sa wedding namin nattakot kasi ako na baka maging red flag ito sa immigration with all my family issues. Salamat :(

It's impossible to answer your question when you start in English, but feel the need to switch to tagalog...and back and forth.

Did you and your boyfriend live together for one year or more before he became a PR?

I assumed you lived in the philippines with your family .I guess it will be a redflag if your family will not come to your wedding unless you privide a solid reason. If you lived togther for 4 years and on his PR application before is single and not common law and if cic found out it will be an issue that thing happend to my friend's application.

Thankyou for the reply. Yes im from the philippines and no we are not in a common law relationship before he came to canada. We are now planning for our wedding this april eventhough my family is not sure and planning to submit our papers afterwards. And yes i think i have to talk to my family i want it to be ok beacuse my boyfriend invested so much time doing everything for this sponsorship im so stressed about it and i just cant sleep i dont want to ruin things beacuse of family issues :(

Hi

I've question regarding spousal sponsorship.

Person A landed in Canada in June 2012 and left Canada in Feb 2013 to get married and was living in Pakistan with spouse. He has two kids (Born in 2013 and 2014). He came back to Canada in June 2015 and is now planning to apply for his family under family class immigration. Now I've two questions:

How much income he has to show, he is working full time on contract and earned approximately 21K since his arrival in 2015 June. (He didn't have job for two months).
What is role of this finance thing in spousal sponsorship (Remember he has two kids as well)? Could they reject his application as sponsor (first stage) that he didn't meet LCOI for 4 family members (Himself/Wife/2 kids) although his family is still backhome in Pakistan.
Thanks for your answers and help in advance.

As long as the sponsor is not on welfare he is eligible to apply because there is no income requirements for spousal sponsorship.
