I am currently in the process of filling in the forms to sponsor my common law partner for a permanent residence visa.

I have a few questions and would be grateful if anyone can assist:

Form IMM5669, question 12 (addresses) - both my girlfriend and I have moved around a great deal in the last ten years. We can provide full addresses and post codes for the last four years, but some of the other addresses will be incomplete because we can't remember the relevant flat number and/or post code. Is this likely to cause a problem? Are best guesses good enough provided that we make it clear where we are not 100% sure of the information provided?

Form IM5540, question 8 (addresses) - the form seems to be asking for every address I've ever resided at outside of Canada. I'm 37 years old and have never lived in Canada so the list of addresses would be very long and imprecise. Am I really expected to provide accurate details for all of these?

Any help would be much appreciated! I'm tearing my hair out with the forms at the moment!

Thanks.

T.

1. you can write address as much as you can remember.

2. yes and no.
same answer as no. 1. you can put as much as you can.
you should not leave any gap though.
VO do not follow up all address you put on the form, but leave a long gap (months, years) without address would not be good on your app.
you may need write all address you lived on the separated sheet of paper.

Good luck.
