Hi,
Im a filipina. My boyfriend is a canadian citizen from Vancouver. We met online and he already visited me once and we get along really well. He is planning for another visit in june so we can get married. And after the wedding we plan to stay in Vancouver. What are the requirements if he will sponsor me? And how long will the application take. What is the best way to do to avoid visa denial? After the marriage how long should we wait until we can apply for a visa? What visa should we apply? Is it beter to apply for a tourist visa or a permanent residence right away.

Well I think your chances of getting a visitor visa are very slim, because you have family here in Canada, so you're likely going to be refused due to family ties.

Your application's processing time will get longer if your relationship seems non genuine, or it appears you are trying to marry to gain status to enter Canada. Looking at your previous posts, it seems you have family and relatives in Canada, which means you have a strong "pull factor". Also, your ex-husband was a Canadian, and you met your boyfriend on the internet, and he is also a Canadian. I feel all the above things I mentioned combined, will work against you, because CIC will see that you have a very strong desire to come to Canada, and you will do everything to move here, even if it means having to marry another Canadian. They will see that your last 2 spouses happen to be Canadian, meaning you chose them selectively because they were Canadian, hence they could potentially bring you to Canada to live.

Other factors include, how long have you been in a relationship before proposal/marriage, age difference, educational difference, cultural difference, whether his and your parents will attend the wedding or not, etc.
