Good Day.

Recently granted canadian citizenship, i now intend to sponsor my wife
who is currently living in our native country.

My initial plan is to start the sponsorship from outside Canada, and once
that is approved, get her a visitor visa, so that she can stay her in Canada while
we await approval of her permanent residence application. Will she be able to work
while she wait for her permanent residency application?

In my case, what do you think is the best option to take?

Thank you so much for your advice.

1. If she requires a TRV (visitor visa)to come to Canada, she probably won't get it.
2. If she makes it to Canada, she will not be able to work or attend school until she receives her PR.

I'm wondering why wouldn't his wife get the TRV?

Because her intention is remain permanently in Canada, whereas TRVs are for visitors.
