I placed my PR application for Spousal Sponsorship on May 2018. Medical status passed on Oct 2018 (Me & my youngest child medical is July 2018, second and third child is August 2018 and the fourth child is October 2018). The expected completion of the process according to the timetable in my GCKey account is May 2019.
On March 13, 2019, I received a call from CIC London for schedule interview at Abu Dhabi on April 8, 2019. Since I am working in Qatar and due to 'Blockade Issue', I have explained to CIC that I will process the visa to UAE but not sure how much time it will take. In the afternoon of the same day (March 13), I received an email titled 'Information Letter' stating that the interview will no longer takes place and no need for me to obtain visa to UAE. CIC are thinking of possible way to re-schedule the interview and they will let me know. It also stated in the letter that there is no action required from my side and just wait for CIC's advice on the next step.
As of this writing, I have not received any update from CIC and it is only 39 days for completion recorded in the timetable.
Question: Is there any way that the CIC will waive the interview? Will it delay the process or past due the expected completion date? Since the ball is in their court (as stated in their letter to wait further advise on the next step), how long will it take for this waiting advice? Anybody with the same situation?
