Is there any risk involved if the sponsor leaves to visit his home country for 7 weeks (From 2nd week of Jan- Feb 2024) after the sponsorship application has been submitted?The Principal applicant will stay in Canada. The sole purpose of the sponsor’s travel is to meet his family back home and undergo an eye surgery & not work or reside there. Current status of Principal applicant is PGWP but it will expire in upcoming February 2024. Sponsor is a PR since December 2021.
