Spousal Sponsorship Help

Hi everybody,

I have recently received PR and will be landing in Feb 2015 hopefully. I will get married later that year in April/May.
how soon can i apply for my wife. Do i have to be in canada for 12 months before i file application for her or can i just do it the day after wedding.
I Know there is no income requirement but if god forbids n it takes time for getting a job, what should i mention in the application about the income and support.

I know i should do it after i secure a job, but the timeline for the PR approval is around 10 months and i m hoping to apply fr her in meantime.

you only have to wait as long as it takes to compile all the paperwork and your marriage certificate. there is no wait time for sponsoring a spouse after pr approval. while it would be great to apply right after getting married, it's not realistic because depending on where you get married, it can take weeks or months to get your marriage certificate.
