Spousal sponsorship for Army spouse

Hi All,

My wife is currently serving Indian Army as a Nursing Officer. Can I sponsor her for spousal PR as outland application while her being in the service ? I am a PR living and working in Canada.
What are the documents required from her organization side ?

if the first option doesn't work, can she come to Canada as a visitor and I apply her inland PR application provided she is released from the service by then ?

Completely like any other spousal application, you can sponsor her. There are questions in the form about military service, just check them. I believe they'll ask for a record of service that she'd get from the military, but check the instructions whether that must be submitted at same time.

There will of course be some security checks specific to military but doubt that either indian military nor nursing officer service would raise any insurmountable security concerns.

Somewhat depends on whether she has made a time commitment to the army or whether she is free to leave the army at any time.
