Spousal sponsorship by a recent PR applicant

Hi

I have recently received my PR through express entry. I was single when I applied through express entry and even while submitting my passport for VISA i.e., until 16th May. I got married on 19th May and I received my passport back from New Delhi on 25th May. Can anyone suggest on how to proceed further with my status and how I can apply for dependent to my spouse?

Do NOT land with your current visa/passport because your status was SINGLE.
If you land with that, you can NEVER sponsor your spouse.

You need to notify Immigration (find a way to contact your local visa office i.e. call them) and add your spouse as your dependent. She will need to go through medical and police check...etc.

Then once it's approved, you will get a new visa for both you and your spouse.
Post your question under Express Entry. They likely know the details on how to add a spouse.
