Question:
A sponsorship application is being done by a wife for her husband. In the application they ask for the status of the husband(non-principal applicant). Currently the husband is on an open-work permit in Canada and it is due to expire in August. Upon the expiry of his work-permit he will return to Canada as a visitor. The question is on the sponsorship application, which the wife would like to send out as soon as possible, what should the status read: (1) Visitor (2) Open work permit. Apparently CIC spoke to the wife on the in regards to an implied status what does that mean?
Overall, What would you recommend to check off?
