Good morning all,
I am having an issue with my application. My wife is sponsoring me for permanent residency. The application was submitted in December. In February they asked for a medical exam which I did promptly in Barcelona (we live in South of France and Spain was nearest). All went well. 2 or 3 weeks later my applications status said "medical exam: you have passed your medical exam". Now just over 3 months later that has changed and they have sent me a message with exactly the same request.. IMM-1017E and the status has changed back to.. we have sent a request for a medical exam. Is this normal? The test was done and passed just 3 months ago.. there is still 6months plus left for the year since application submitted. It is just the same request.. not "there is a problem and we need more info".. which i would understand.. What can I do to verify this problem. As I said, we live in France so can't call CIC directly and I can't find any way of being able speak to someone to verify? I have to take 2 days off work to get to the clinic and back by train so the fact I thought I'd passed is annoying to say the least. On top of that, the test isn't exactly cheap.
Any help anyone can offer will be very much appreciated. In the meantime.. have a good weekend all.
