I am originally from the United States and am now living in Canada and being sponsored by husband for PR.
We sent the application package back in January and just received an acknowledgement of receipt along with a request for a police check and the Background Declaration. Both of which I have just submitted online.
I was curious if anyone knows what happens next? I included an open work permit application as well, should I be receiving a work permit in the mail shortly then? If anyone has any experience or advice, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm just curious about the timeline from this point forward.
